alassio-80-inch-sand-wash-ash-and-rattan-media-console
Alassio 80-Inch Sand Wash Ash and Rattan Media Console

Pale ash, golden rattan. A long sand-wash ash veneer console with woven natural rattan doors, an open cubby over two drawers and brass-finish sled legs.

Alassio starts with white ash veneer over plywood, LVL, MDF and Asian hardwood, then takes a sand wash: a light, warm khaki-brown with a faint pale wash settling into the open grain. Because the veneer is real ash, the figure wanders differently across every door frame, drawer front and end panel. The two front corners curve round into the ends and the top follows them, which softens a case this long.

At each end, a hinged door holds a panel of woven natural rattan in a fine square weave, framed by a slim raised bead and left free of knobs. The center stacks an open cubby for a streaming box or receiver over two drawers, each with a pair of round brass-tone knobs. Beneath, a satin brass-finish tube runs under each end and turns down into two legs. Pair it with limestone, linen and olive branches for a Mediterranean feel, or with white oak floors and a jute rug for an easy coastal room.

For a matching open-grained ash look, add our Pesaro ash veneer fluted pedestal coffee table in front of the sofa.

Details

Dimensions: 79.5" W x 16" D x 26" H (202 x 41 x 66 cm); top 78.5" W x 15.5" D (199 x 39 cm)

Storage: Two hinged-door cabinets with an adjustable shelf in each; an open center cubby 34.25" (87 cm) wide; two center drawers, 31.5" W x 11.75" D x 3.75" H inside each (80 x 30 x 10 cm)

Cable management: Three oval openings in the back panel: one low in each cabinet and one in the center section

Top: Flat top whose front corners round off with the case

Base / Legs: An aged brass-finish metal sled under each end, each with two round legs; two dark supports set back under the center; about 4" (10 cm) of floor showing under the case

Material: White ash veneer over plywood, laminated veneer lumber (LVL), MDF and Asian hardwood; rattan panels in the doors, woven from natural strands; metal sled legs

Finish: Sand Wash: light khaki-brown with a pale wash in the open grain, matte; legs in an aged brass finish

Hardware: Two round brass-tone knobs on each drawer; the doors carry no knobs

Natural character: Each veneer leaf has its own figure, and natural rattan shifts a little in tone from strand to strand

Care: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; blot spills right away; lift dust out of the weave with a soft brush; keep the console clear of radiators and strong afternoon sun

Origin: Made in Indonesia

Shipping weight: 151.9 lb (boxed)

Named after Alassio, a beach town on the Riviera di Ponente, in the province of Savona in Liguria.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0069/9373/9831/files/alassio-sand-wash-ash-and-rattan-media-console-sand-wash-01-signature.jpg?v=1790729163
https://us.valenciatheaterseating.com/products/alassio-80-inch-sand-wash-ash-and-rattan-media-console
