cisternino-59-inch-pecan-birch-veneer-and-cane-media-console
Cisternino 59-Inch Pecan Birch Veneer and Cane Media Console

Cane doors, warm birch. A 59-inch mid-century media console in pecan birch veneer, with two sliding cane doors, two open cubbies and splayed legs.

Two sliding doors fill the left of the case, each holding a panel of natural woven cane in a mitered wooden frame with a thin rounded bead. The open weave lets the dark interior show through and softens a long, low piece. The doors have no handles: they glide on a double track, each on four small rollers, and open by the frame.

The case is birch veneer over MDF, stained a warm pecan brown that keeps the soft, wavy figure of the birch in view. On the right, one fixed shelf splits the open section into two cubbies for a streaming box or a slim games console, and the whole case rests on a low base frame with four tapered legs splayed in the mid-century way. Style it with linen, stone and pale plaster for a soft coastal room, or with walnut, leather and a black-framed print for a more retro mood.

For a matching warm brown look, pair it with our Rovereto brown ash veneer round coffee table.

Details

Dimensions: 59" W x 15.75" D x 19.63" H (150 x 40 x 50 cm)

Storage: Two sliding cane doors on the left; two open cubbies on the right, each about 5.5" (14 cm) high

TV size: For flat and curved TVs up to 65 inches, per the maker

Top: Flat, with square edges, flush with the end panels

Base / Legs: Low wooden base frame on four tapered, splayed solid wood legs, about 6.7" (17 cm) tall, with plastic adjustable feet

Material: Birch veneer over P2-grade MDF; natural cane door panels; solid wood legs

Finish: Pecan, a warm medium brown stain, satin

Hardware: No handles; the doors slide on a double track, each on four rollers

Natural character: The birch figure and the cane strands vary slightly from console to console

Care: Dust with a soft dry cloth and brush the cane gently; wipe spills promptly and keep water off the cane; keep away from heaters and strong sun

Shipping weight: 66 lb (boxed)

Named after Cisternino, a hill town in the Itria Valley, in the province of Brindisi in Puglia.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0069/9373/9831/files/cisternino-birch-veneer-and-cane-media-console-pecan-01-signature.jpg?v=1790729088
https://us.valenciatheaterseating.com/products/cisternino-59-inch-pecan-birch-veneer-and-cane-media-console
