Carved rhythm, warm brass. A 66-inch dresser in wire-brushed black wood with eight fluted drawers and antique-brass-tone half-moon pulls.
Every drawer front is carved into narrow rounded flutes inside a thin flat border, so the black surface ripples as light moves across it. The wood is wire-brushed before the finish goes on, which opens the grain and leaves faint charcoal lines under a matte black, and no two flutes read quite the same.
Eight drawers sit in two columns of four, with a shorter top row lined in black felt for watches, belts and jewelry, and three deeper rows below for sweaters and jeans. A single half-moon pull in an antique brass tone tops each drawer, and the case stands on tapered legs under a slim base frame. Style it with plaster walls and cognac leather for a warm loft look, or with crisp white bedding for sharp contrast.
