Mid-century, every day. A compact, armless spindle-back chair in black-finished mahogany, with a carved walnut-brown crest rail and a woven rattan seat, made for everyday meals.

Amendolara is the chair you'll use every day and still stop to look at. The frame is mahogany in a deep black satin finish, and the carved crest rail on top is warm walnut brown with its flame grain left to show, curved to follow your shoulders. Set four or six around a plain table and the room looks designed, not just furnished.

The seat is pale rattan woven in a tight herringbone, and as a natural material its strands shift gently in tone, so every seat has its own character. Seven slim spindles, curved arches and a looped low stretcher keep the chair open and light from every side, which helps in a smaller room. Pair it with pale oak and white walls for a crisp Scandinavian look, or with a dark walnut table for something warmer and more classic.

Set it around our Crosia walnut veneer table for a warm mid-century look, or our Davoli ebony oak veneer pedestal table for a sharper, darker room.
