Outdoor dining

Room for one more.

A slatted acacia table on tapered mid-century legs: 71 inches long for every day, 94.5 inches with the slatted leaf in. Chairs not included.

The Augusta story

Two halves and a leaf.

The Augusta top is made in two framed halves, each a wide acacia border around a field of lengthwise slats.

Pull the halves apart and set the slatted extension piece between them: the table grows from 71 to 94.5 inches long.

Underneath, four tapered legs angle out toward the corners in the mid-century way.

The design

Soft curves, straight slats.

71 inches long and 35.5 inches wide, at a 30-inch dining height. The ends of the top curve gently outward and the corners are softened, so the table reads light from every side.

Mitred border

A wide acacia frame around every slatted field.

Tapered legs

Round legs that narrow to slim feet and splay out.

The materials

Acacia, teak finish.

The table is made of acacia, a dense hardwood that stands up to the outdoors, finished in a warm teak tone.

Acacia is a natural wood, so the grain and colour vary from piece to piece.

Acacia hardwood

A durable acacia frame with a teak finish that resists everyday wear and tear.

Slatted top

Lengthwise slats in wide border frames, on both halves and on the extension piece.

Easy care

Weather-resistant to most elements; cover or store the table when it is not in use to extend its life.

Closed and extended

71 inches, or 94.5.

Closed, the two halves meet at a plain cross band in the middle of the table. With the slatted extension piece in, the top reads as three framed sections in a row: 23.5 more inches of table, room for an extra seat or two when guests turn up.

The top overhangs the legs at both ends, and there are no stretchers between the legs.

Closed, 71 inches

Two framed halves of lengthwise slats.

Extended, 94.5 inches
