Wrapped in warm rattan. A counter stool with a fully woven natural rattan seat and tall angled back on a mahogany base, delivered fully assembled.
Bocchigliero is rattan from the seat up: round natural rattan woven tightly over a deep box seat and a tall back, inside and out, with no wood frame on show. The back is set at a slight angle and gently curved, so it supports you through a long coffee rather than just perching you at the counter.
Underneath, four straight square mahogany legs in a warm reddish-brown finish are tied by a low frame of four stretchers that doubles as a footrest. Honey rattan and faint darker bands in the weave vary from stool to stool, so each one is a little different. Pair it with scrubbed oak and limestone for a country kitchen, or with pale lime plaster and terracotta for a Mediterranean feel.
