Cagli Black Fluted and Ivory Upholstered Bedroom Set

Soft ivory, crisp black. An ivory channel-tufted bed framed in wire-brushed black wood, with a fluted nightstand, dresser and square mirror to match.

The bed is the soft note in the room: eleven plump vertical channels of ivory polyester fabric fill the 60-inch headboard and repeat on the low footboard, each panel held in a thin black frame whose top corners step out past the posts. Below the headboard panel a 12-inch open gap keeps the frame light, and the plain side rails show the wire-brushed grain under the matte black.

The case pieces bring the texture. The nightstand is 28.5 inches wide and 26.5 high, with two equal drawers whose fronts are covered in narrow rounded flutes inside a thin flat border; a brushed gold-tone half-moon pull sits on the top edge of each drawer, the front corners are rounded, and four square tapered legs lift it 5.5 inches under a slim base frame. The eight-drawer dresser and the square mirror with its fluted top band repeat the same details. Style it with white bedding and a jute rug, or with charcoal linen for more contrast.
