Camerino Smokey Walnut Bow-Tie Headboard Bedroom Set

Two nightstands, one wave. A platform bed in smokey walnut and suar veneer with a bow-tie-keyed headboard, plus two handle-free, wave-front nightstands.

The headboard is a tall, flat slab of suar and walnut veneer, 70 inches wide on the Queen, split near the top by a thin, irregular live-edge-style opening that runs its full width. Three dark bow-tie inlays, the kind woodworkers set across a split board, bridge the gap as a decorative accent, and the wall shows through behind it. Below, a broad ledge frames the mattress and overhangs a base set well back, so the bed seems to hover 12 inches above the floor.

A matching nightstand stands on each side, a plain 26-inch box with two drawers that meet at a sculpted, wavy edge over a dark reveal. That reveal is the grip, so no pull interrupts the grain, and each drawer gives you 22.5 by 13.75 inches of space inside. Dovetail detail marks the corners of the sides, and a dark plinth tucked underneath lets each case float. Dress the bed in white linen over a jute rug for a calm, warm room, or in charcoal bedding with black iron lamps for more contrast.
