Under the marble a straight drum narrows through a cone to a slim waist, then a second cone widens again into a taller drum that stands on the floor. The marble is almost plain white with faint grey veins and is sealed against stains and moisture; as a natural stone, each top has its own veining and tone. It weighs about 22.5 pounds and arrives fully assembled.
