Two drawers are hidden in the band with no handles; each is 16.9 by 11 inches inside and 2 inches deep. Underneath, the console is fully open, with no shelf or stretcher. At 15 inches deep it fits behind a sofa, in an entry or along a hallway. Because the veneer is natural ash, the grain varies from table to table.
