Codroipo 61-Inch Gray Acacia Honeycomb Dresser

One bold band. A 61-inch gray acacia dresser on splayed black metal legs, handle-free, with a carved honeycomb band across the middle.

Codroipo keeps the plain parts plain so the middle can speak: a band of raised hexagons, each cut with its own grain and a slightly different gray, runs between three shallow drawers above and two deep drawers below. There are no pulls anywhere; dark recessed grooves under the rows give your fingers an edge to open them.

Acacia is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood, and a cool gray wash lets darker streaks and a hint of warm brown show through. The case stands on four splayed black metal legs joined by slim stretcher rods, about 9 inches off the floor, so it reads lighter than its length. It works as a dresser, a buffet or a media unit; set it with white oak and wool for a Scandinavian feel, or with walnut and leather for mid-century warmth.

Looks right with pale oak floors and linen bedding, with a round mirror hung above the honeycomb band.
