The headboard is one flat panel in cream boucle, with no tufting, no buttons and no channels. At each side a shallow wing stands a few inches proud of it, with a softly rounded top corner, and runs all the way down to the floor.
Low upholstered rails follow the mattress around, and at the foot the bed stands on two turned solid wood legs in a walnut finish.
The headboard rises to 54 inches. A metal frame with wooden slats carries the mattress directly, so no box spring is needed; the maker rates it to 1,000 lb.
