A pair of square acacia armchairs with a natural teak finish, black rope panels in the sides and back, and thick ivory seat and back cushions.
A pair of square acacia armchairs with black rope panels in the sides and back, and thick ivory cushions to sink into.
Each Ficarra chair is an open frame of acacia: two square posts on each side, a flat arm rail across the top and a low rail near the floor.
Between them, thin black cords run straight down in a row, in both sides and across the back.
A deep seat cushion and a tall back cushion fill the frame. The set has two chairs.
Each chair is 28.74 inches wide, 28.74 inches deep and 31.61 inches high, with the seat 16.5 inches off the ground and the arms at 24.6 inches.
The cords loop through the rails and show as short black stitches on top.
The back frame carries its own row of cords, so the chair looks right from every side.
Four square acacia legs, joined low down by the side rails.
The frame is weather-resistant acacia wood with a natural teak finish; the side and back panels are strung with black rope.
Acacia is a natural wood, so the grain and colour vary from piece to piece.
Posts, rails, seat slats and legs in acacia with a natural teak finish, made for patios, decks and gardens.
Black rope in the arms and back keeps the chair light to look at and lets air through.
A seat and a back cushion, each 5.9 inches thick, with zippered covers.
The back is a frame of its own, strung with the same black cords as the sides, so the chairs can stand in the open, with their backs to the room.
From the side the chair is a near-perfect square: the arm rail runs straight from the front post to the back, with the cords hanging between it and the low rail.
The seat is deep and low, with the back cushion standing up above the frame.
Old brick, ferns and dappled shade.
Ochre earth wall, dark slate and desert planting.
The chairs are made for patios, decks and gardens, and look just as much at home in a sunroom or living room.
Set them side by side for two, or face them across a low table.
White breeze block, terrazzo and palms.
A square frame, a row of cords and two thick cushions.
Two chairs side by side need about 5 feet of width, plus room to pull them out.
