Knotty oak, softly curved. A 78-inch counter-height home bar in knotty oak veneer, with a waterfall end, a black metal footrest and storage behind.
From the room, Firmo reads as one calm piece of oak. A thick top runs the length of the bar, turns down through a soft rounded bend at one end to meet the floor, and at the other reaches past the cabinet with one generous rounded corner. The guest side is a single panel of vertical English oak veneer planks, where knots, fine checks and bold cathedral grain mean no two bars are alike.
At 36.25 inches it stands at counter height, and a matte black metal footrest runs the front and wraps round the open end, so guests have somewhere to rest their feet. Behind the bar, a lower work counter keeps pouring out of sight, above two drawers, open shelves, a stemware rack, a cabinet with a door and two slatted wine shelves. Pair it with stone and timber for chalet warmth, or steel windows and concrete for a loft.
