English knotty oak is chosen for its character: small dark knots, fine checks and long cathedral arches run across every drawer front, under a weathered greige finish that keeps the wood matte and calm. It is real oak veneer over solid wood and MDF, so the figure is the wood's own, never printed.
The case softens at every edge, with rounded top corners, bullnosed sides and a low plinth, and twelve dark cast rings, shaped like smooth pebbles, set the rhythm across six equal drawers. Inside, the top drawers are lined in felt and the bottom drawers in cedar, and all six run on self-closing guides mounted underneath. Pair it with oatmeal linen and stoneware for a farmhouse feel, or with black metal lamps for a cleaner, modern room.
