Made to settle into. An armless wingback dining chair in grey-washed natural rattan, its back and seat woven as one shell on four square wood legs.
Some chairs you sit on; Frascineto holds you. The back narrows at the waist, then opens into two wings that curve gently forward around your shoulders, so you can lean back and stay for the whole meal. It's armless, so it still slides up to the table like any dining chair.
Back and seat are one woven shell of natural rattan in a soft, washed mix of grey, cream and straw, woven in tight rows and finished with a thick bound rim, with no cushion to slip or straighten. Because rattan is natural, the tones and small marks vary from chair to chair, so each one is a little different. Four square wood legs in a matte grey-brown, the back pair angled out and joined by a rail on each side, give it a sure stance, and it arrives fully assembled. Use one at the head of the table or a desk, or set a row beside oak and concrete for a calm, modern room.
Set it around our Morano grey-washed acacia round table, or line a row along our Sangineto reclaimed pine trestle for a warm, weathered look.
