- Brass-finish pulls, sawn fir: Each drawer front is made of two boards of reclaimed fir, each with a flat pull in an antique brass finish that bows slightly away from the wood. A stepped moulding runs along the front edge of the top.
- A case that floats: Seen at an angle, the fir case sits on short posts above the metal frame, so a narrow gap shows beneath it. Six slim legs and a low frame of stretchers keep the space under it open.
- Staggered boards, rough-sawn: The top is made of narrow fir boards of different lengths laid in staggered rows, rough-sawn and stained a warm natural brown. It is reclaimed wood, so every top has its own marks and grain.
