A 60-inch trestle console table in solid reclaimed elm with a light natural brown finish: pale tan-brown wood with a deep wire-brushed grain and the knots, small checks and tool marks of old timber. The 2.5-inch plank top rests on two sawhorse ends set about 7.5 inches in from each end. Each end is a pair of square legs that splay apart from front to back and are joined low down by a crossbar whose ends pass through the legs. One flat stretcher runs low along the length and is wedged through both crossbars, and a plain rail runs under the middle of the top. At 14 inches deep and 34 inches high it fits behind a sofa, along a hallway or in an entry. Because the wood is reclaimed, colour, grain and markings vary from table to table.
