Made to host. A set of two tall host chairs whose open cane back wraps around both sides, framed in pale wire-brushed wood, with a linen-look seat and a black metal footring.
Gioiosa is made for the ends of your table, the seats where the host sits and the evening is steered. The tall back curves around you in one shell, so you sit supported through a long meal with no separate arms to bump the table, and the black metal footring gives your feet a place to rest.
The back and both sides are open cane framed by a thick, rounded wood rim, so light passes straight through and even a tall chair feels airy. The wood has a pale Sand finish, wire-brushed to bring out fine flecks in the grain, and cane and wood tones vary slightly from chair to chair. Pair them with travertine and olive branches for a warm Mediterranean look, or with white walls and pale oak for a bright coastal room.
