- Ribs that end in points: Near the bottom of the drum the wall curves inward and every rib narrows to a point, like the hem of a pleated skirt. Below the points the base steps in to a plain cylinder of stacked mango blocks.
- Two parts on one axis: Seen at an angle the table reads as a ribbed drum set on a narrower, smooth base under a flat round top. There are no legs, so it looks the same from every side of the room.
- Black, with the grain showing: The black stain is applied by hand and lets the mango grain show through across the top, so the surface reads as wood rather than paint. The finish is matte to a low satin.

It sits on a plain, slightly narrower cylinder base built from stacked mango blocks. The flat round top has a softly rounded rim. It is 20 inches high and weighs 21.5 pounds.
