Jesi Black Fluted Oak Bedroom Set

Black flutes, warm brass. A bedroom set in wire-brushed black oak veneer, with fluted panels on every piece and brass-tone half-moon pulls.

Every piece shares one idea: narrow rounded flutes set inside a thin flat border. They run up the tall headboard and across the low footboard, over both nightstand drawers and all eight dresser drawers, and along the band that crowns the square mirror, so the room reads as one calm, textured whole. The black finish is wire-brushed over oak veneer, which opens the grain so faint charcoal lines show through a matte surface.

The bed is built to look open: the headboard panel stops 10 inches above the side rails, and the footboard stays low at under 26 inches, so a large frame never feels heavy. Each drawer on the case pieces has one small half-moon pull on its top edge, the top drawers are lined in black felt for watches and jewelry, and the drawers are joined with dovetails. Pair it with white linen and pale stone for sharp contrast, or with cognac leather and plaster walls for a warmer room.
