It stands on two separate pedestals, each made of two thick slabs of the same oak veneer joined in a T, with open floor between them. The four armless chairs have tall, fully upholstered backs and padded seats in a soft, nubby gray boucle, on four square wood legs in a pale gray-washed finish that matches the table. The seller rates each chair for 250 lb. The veneer is real wood, so the grain varies from table to table.
