Reclaimed planks, hairpin legs. A 60-inch console in solid reclaimed wood, with two plank doors, an open center bay, a cable hole and black hairpin legs.
Lerici is built from solid reclaimed wood, and it keeps the marks of it: knots with small checks, straight grain and the seams between planks stay in view on the top, the ends and both doors. The warm brown finish is matte, so the wood reads as wood, and because the boards are reclaimed, no two consoles look the same.
The layout is simple and useful. A plank door at each end closes off a cabinet, opened by a black metal bar pull on its inner edge, and the open bay between them, 26 3/8 inches wide and 10 1/4 inches high, takes a receiver or a games console, with a round hole in the back panel for the cables. Four black hairpin legs splay outward beneath the case. Style it with a worn rug and black steel windows for a warehouse feel, or with white plaster and linen to let the wood stand out.
