Loreto Washed Oak Upholstered Bedroom Set

Framed, pale, softly bright. A washed oak veneer bedroom set with framed drawer fronts, polished nickel ring pulls and a cream headboard with nailheads.

Loreto is built around the frame. Every drawer front carries its own stepped, mitered molding, the low footboard holds one long recessed panel, and the tall headboard sets a cream upholstered panel inside a molded oak surround edged with a row of nailheads. The oak veneer is wire-brushed and washed pale, so its open pores show as fine whitish lines, over poplar, plywood, LVL and MDF.

Polished nickel rings, hung from small square blocks, give each drawer a small point of shine: one on each nightstand drawer, two on every dresser and chest drawer. The drawers are felt-lined, and the nightstand has a cable opening at the back for charging. Each case stands on short tapered feet under a projecting plinth. Try soft blue linen and sea grass for a coastal room, or warm walnut and brass accents for contrast.

Named after Loreto, a small hilltop town near the Adriatic coast, in the Marche province of Ancona.
