The drum side is built from short mango blocks laid in staggered courses, and a flat round top sits flush on it. Four slim black metal rod legs rise along the outside of the drum and hold it 6 inches off the floor, so the table reads as a solid round form that floats. At 14 inches high and 40 pounds, it sits low in front of a sofa. The legs attach at assembly.
