Luzzi's foam-cushioned seat is covered on the top and all four sides in genuine hair-on-hide patchwork. Blocks of silvery grey, charcoal and off-white hide are stitched together in a staggered pattern, and the direction of the hair changes from patch to patch, so the seat shifts in tone as the light moves across it. Hair-on-hide is a natural material, so colour and texture vary from hide to hide and no two benches are the same.

The seat rests on a hammered iron frame in a dark bronze finish: a slim band embossed with a stone-like pattern, four slender textured legs and a low bar at each end only, which keeps the front open and light. At 18.5 inches high and 16 inches deep, it suits a dressing table, an entryway or a bedroom corner. Style it with white panelling and marble for a Parisian dressing room, or with stone and smoked oak for a mountain entry.
