The base is the part people notice: three curved panels clad in fine half-round reeds, standing apart around the centre, each on its own slim shoe, so the reeds catch the light differently through the day. The top is ash veneer in a distressed light brown with a soft pale wash in the open grain, so every table's figure is a little different, and a stepped double-bead edge feels soft under the hand.
