The Mascali story

A bar stool that holds you.

Mascali is a set of four bar-height stools in acacia wood with a teak finish.

The back is a curved shell of handwoven wicker in an open lattice, wrapping round the back and both sides of the seat.

The seat sits 27.95 inches off the ground on a sled base with a built-in footrest, under a thick beige cushion.

The four Mascali stools from behind: the curved open-lattice wicker backs, the acacia legs and the rounded back corners of the sled runners

The back

Curved to wrap round you.

The wicker shell runs round the back and both sides of the seat and curls forward at the front, so it supports the back and the sides at once.

From behind, the open lattice lets the light through.
