A seven-piece dining set for six: one rectangular table and six upholstered side chairs. The 72-inch top is oak veneer over MDF in a warm light oak finish, with the grain running lengthwise down the middle and a breadboard band across each end, its grain turned the other way and its outer corners generously rounded. The top is 1.75 inches thick and rests on a trestle base of solid rubberwood: two U-shaped end frames with curved inside corners, joined by one flat stretcher at floor level. The six armless chairs have solid rubberwood frames with square tapered legs, a padded seat and a gently curved back pad held between two posts, upholstered in a light grey flecked woven fabric. The veneer is real oak, so the grain varies from table to table.
