- A tray-top edge: A thin rim runs around the edge of the round top, standing just above the flat centre. It keeps a glass, a candle or a small dish from sliding off, and the grain of the top runs right up to it.
- A jug-shaped base: Seen at an angle, the base reads as one turned form: a slim neck flaring out from under the top onto a tapered base that widens toward the floor, with the round top twice as wide as its foot.
- Natural mango grain: The top is made of wide mango planks in a warm honey tone, with swirling figure and soft grey-brown streaks left in view under a matte finish. Knots and figure vary from table to table.
