A 60-inch half-moon console table veneered in natural mappa burl: honey-gold to light amber wood with a swirling figure and scattered clusters of small dark burl eyes, laid in rectangular leaves with fine seams between them. The top is a shallow arc, only 16 inches deep at the centre, with a straight back that stands flat against the wall. A plain curved apron runs under the 1-inch top, divided into three panels by the tops of the two front legs. The table stands on four square legs that taper on their inner faces: two at the ends of the straight back and two on the curve. There is no shelf and no drawer, so the floor stays open underneath. It is made of mappa burl veneer, mindi wood and engineered wood. Burl is a natural figure, so the pattern of eyes and swirls varies from table to table.
