- A thin edge, a curved underside: The top is only about half an inch thick at the rim, then curves inward underneath to meet the pedestal, so from the side it looks light for a metal table.
- Widest near the floor: Seen at an angle in a room, the cone widens all the way down to a soft shoulder just above the floor, then tucks in to a small round foot.
- Hand-finished graphite: The flat top shows soft cloudy tones and a fine sand-cast texture. The finish is applied by hand, so every table differs slightly.

A round pedestal side table in cast aluminum with a hand-applied graphite finish, a deep charcoal with a faint warm undertone and a fine cast texture. A wide, thin top with a softly rounded edge curves in underneath like the cap of a mushroom and sits on a tall, slim cone. The cone swells to its widest point low down and then tucks in to a small round foot. Each piece is hand-finished, so the texture varies slightly from table to table. It weighs about 16.5 pounds and arrives fully assembled.
