Numana Sand Wash and Natural Cane Bedroom Set

Cane, brass, warm sand. A sand wash bedroom set: an open-cane bed on slim brass-finish legs, with round-knob case pieces on curved metal sleds.

The bed frames open cane in a fine square-grid weave inside a wood border with softly rounded top corners, on the tall headboard and again on the low footboard, so light passes through the panels. Four slim metal legs in an aged brass finish run down from the corner posts to the floor and hold the frame 7.5 inches up, and the sand wash finish is wire-brushed in eleven steps, so the grain reads as fine pale and darker lines.

The case pieces keep their lines simple. Flat drawer fronts sit between rounded front corner posts, each drawer carries two round knobs in an aged brass finish, the top drawers are felt-lined, and every piece stands on two curved metal sleds that turn down into slim legs. The dresser has eight drawers and the nightstand three, the round mirror has a slim wood shelf across its lower part, and the 5-Piece Set adds a five-drawer chest. Style it with white linen and terracotta, or with washed denim and pale floors.
