It is shaped as two rounded halves, a bowl with a flat round top resting at a narrow waist on a dome with a flat foot, like an hourglass. The top is end grain, with the growth rings of the log and radial cracks, and the sides carry long natural cracks and wavy grain. The cracks come from the wood and the burning, so each table's pattern is its own. It arrives fully assembled.
