A low round side table woven by hand from thick twisted strands of natural leaf fiber. The shape is a squat barrel: the sides swell gently to 19 inches at mid-height and curve in at the top and the bottom, and the top rolls over at a soft shoulder into a nearly flat round surface. On the sides the strands run in horizontal rounds through thin, pale upright stakes; on the top they coil in one spiral from the centre. The colour is natural and mixed, honey, tan and caramel with grey-brown and a few darker streaks, so no two tables look exactly alike. At 19 inches high it sits a little below the arm of most sofas. The top is woven, so it is best for a lamp, a bowl or a glass on a coaster. A plastic foot pad is included.
