Rope, oak and stone. A long, low 72-inch sideboard with fully rounded ends, three rope-front doors in oak veneer frames and a cream stone top.

Polia keeps to one soft outline. Both ends are full half-circles, so the sideboard has no sharp corners, and the cream stone top, the rope-wrapped ends and the low recessed plinth all follow the same rounded plan. The three doors close flush with no handles at all, so the front reads as one calm band of texture.

Fine twisted rope runs top to bottom on every door and around both ends, framed in mitred oak veneer with a light toffee stain and a matte finish that leaves the grain visible. Behind the doors are two compartments with shelves for dinnerware, glassware and linens, and the doors close on soft-close hinges. At 18 inches deep it sits close to a dining room wall or works as a media console. Pair it with white panelling and brass for a classic look, or with concrete and olive branches for a warm modern room.
