Recanati Dark Walnut Mid-Century Bedroom Set

Rounded, warm, mid-century. A dark walnut veneer bedroom set with soft-cornered cases, splayed tapered legs and a charcoal headboard quilted into squares.

Recanati takes its shapes from mid-century design: each case is wrapped in one rounded band, so the nightstand, dresser and chest read as soft-cornered boxes lifted on round legs that taper and angle outward. Walnut veneer runs in long, flowing figure across every front, and a satin finish keeps the brown deep and warm rather than glossy.

The bed pairs a tall headboard in dark grey polyester fabric, stitched into soft squares with no buttons, with a low walnut footboard on two splayed legs, and it rests on slats with no box spring needed. Small dark almond-shaped knobs keep the drawer fronts plain, and the nightstand's top drawer is lined in felt. Style it with white bedding and a jute rug for a relaxed room, or bring in mustard and olive for a more retro look.
