Made for close conversation. A 47-inch round of solid American walnut on an open five-leg ring base, so four people sit anywhere around it, face to face, with no corner legs in the way.

The top is solid American walnut, wide boards with the grain running one way, in a warm chocolate brown with darker streaks and a soft satin sheen. Real walnut varies, so the streaks and figure on your table are its own. A slim, rounded 1-inch edge and no apron keep the round looking light.

Underneath, five chamfered walnut legs lean gently inward, joined by curved arches and set into a flat walnut ring on the floor, so you can see right through the base. It is only about 22 inches across at the floor, which means chairs go anywhere and no one sits against a corner leg. Try it with cane chairs and a jute rug for a relaxed coastal look, or with upholstered chairs in a classic room.
