The top is reclaimed pine in a warm dark chestnut brown, with the knots, wire-brushed grain and small marks of wood that has had a life before this one, so no two tops look the same. Two trestle pedestals, each a faceted vase column on a long stepped foot, are tied by one low stretcher for a steady, traditional stance. Try it with pale upholstered chairs in a beamed country room, or with black steel and limestone for a sunlit Mediterranean look.
Line the sides with our Nocera woven rope chairs and set matching Pentone arm chairs at the heads: pale rope against warm dark wood.
