Light on its feet. A 68-inch sideboard with four woven cane doors, a white cement top and six tapered legs over an open lower shelf.

Rombiolo lifts a cane-fronted cabinet onto slim legs and leaves the space below open. Four doors, a single on each side and a pair in the centre, carry woven cane panels in mitred wood frames with long dark metal pulls, and round pilasters divide them before flowing down into the front legs. A white cement top caps it all, cool and solid against the warm wood.

The wood has a sand finish, a light grey-washed brown left matte so the grain shows, and the cane is a close, even weave in a warmer honey tone. Behind the doors are three cabinets, one at each side and one in the centre, and the full-length shelf below holds baskets, trays or extra platters. Style it with pale floors and linen for a coastal feel, or with limewashed plaster and brass for a country dining room.
