Square, slatted, afloat. A 35-inch square coffee table in natural wood veneer, its deep top wrapped in solid wood slats over a small, set-back pedestal.
The top is one thick block, almost 8 inches deep, faced in natural wood veneer with a soft cathedral figure and open grain. Solid wood slats wrap all four sides and the rounded corners, and their square ends meet the top flush, so the edge reads as a fine toothed line. Each slat carries its own straight grain and tone, and no two tables match exactly.
Beneath the block, a plain square pedestal with rounded corners sits well back from every edge, so the slatted top seems to hover above the rug. At under 16 inches high it stays low in front of a deep sofa, and it is rated for a load of 240 pounds. Style it with cream boucle and linen for a soft, sunlit room, or with cognac leather and a faded rug for a warmer, lived-in look.
For a matching natural wood look, add our Ferrandina natural wood veneer drum side table beside the sofa.

Slatted square, floating low.

Square, low, reachable from all sides.
