Woven rope, cream stone. A 66.5-inch dresser in cerused oak veneer, with six woven rope drawer panels and a cream stone top.
Each of the six drawers is a narrow oak frame with mitered corners around a panel of woven rope, its twisted cords running in close vertical rows, so the front gains a soft, natural texture without any carving. The oak is cerused: a pale filler settles into the open pores, so the grain shows as fine light streaks over a warm greige-brown, and it falls differently on every frame and end panel.
A cream stone top with a softly rounded edge closes the case and is easy to wipe clean, while the front corners curve into the sides above a low recessed plinth. All six drawers run on soft-close glides, so they shut gently and quietly, and a slim dark metal pull sits on the top rail of each frame. Style it with washed linen and pale plaster for a coastal calm, or with black iron and deep olive for a warmer, earthier room.
