A thick round top with a softly rounded underside sits on a short turned neck, and below it a smooth cone widens down to the floor, like a spinning top set upright. The mango is glued up from a few solid blocks, so the grain changes direction across the piece and a few long joint lines run down the cone. The finish has a soft satin sheen.
