- Carved lines in black mango: The grooves are carved into the wood, so each one wanders slightly and the spacing varies. Under the satin black lacquer the ridges catch a little light.

A small round drink table in solid mango wood under a soft black lacquer. The top is one thick half-sphere, flat on top and rounded underneath, resting on a bell-shaped pedestal carved all over with fine vertical lines. The lines are carved into the wood, so they run slightly wavy and unevenly spaced, and the mango grain still shows faintly through the black on the top. The lacquer is water-based and low-VOC.
