Tall, warm, rough-sawn. A 37-inch chest standing 50 inches tall, in rough-sawn wood planks with a rustic caramel finish and dark hammered pulls.

Tarvisio is built from rough-sawn wood planks and finished in a distressed caramel brown, with the saw marks, knots and small nail holes left in plain view. The knots and grain on every drawer front follow the planks themselves, and the tone shifts a little from plank to plank, so every chest is its own.

Five full-width drawers stack inside a wide flat frame mitered at the top corners, and each front is two planks with a pair of dark metal pulls sitting right on the seam. The drawers run on metal ball-bearing slides, and the corner posts carry straight down into four short square legs. Style it with linen curtains and pale walls to let the wood glow, or with black iron and leather for a lodge feel.
