Warm oak, cool stone. A 66.5-inch dresser with six framed drawers in cerused toffee oak veneer under a cream-toned stone top.

Thiene pairs a slab of cream-toned stone with warm toffee oak. The drawer fronts are oak veneer, each a flat panel inside a narrow mitered frame, and the cerused finish leaves fine pale flecks in the open grain, so the figure changes from front to front. The case is solid wood and MDF, closed at each end by a rounded pilaster and set on a recessed plinth.

All six drawers close on soft-close glides. The top ones are lined in felt, one holding a removable compartment tray for jewelry, and the bottom ones in cedar for knits and linens. A slim dark bronze-tone pull rides the top rail of each frame, tucked under the stone's rounded edge. Style it with cognac leather and charcoal bedding, or keep it pale with ivory linen and a large mirror above.

The stone's rounded edge overhangs a thin oak band, and just below it a slim bronze-tone pull rides the top rail of a mitered drawer frame.

Two columns, one calm front

Seen at an angle across the room, six equal drawers line up in two columns between rounded pilasters, with the plinth set back in shadow.

Cerused toffee grain

Pale filler settles into the open oak pores, so the grain reads as fine light lines over a soft caramel tone.
