A round pillar side table wrapped in burl veneer, on its flat top and all the way round its side. The veneer is a warm light honey gold, with loose clusters of small dark brown burl eyes between wide, calm areas of cloudy, rippled figure, under a soft satin finish. The shape is a plain straight drum with a crisp square edge at the top and a flat base on small glides, with no legs, trim or hardware. The veneer is laid in sheets, so faint seams show where the figure changes, and because burl is a natural figure the pattern differs from table to table.
