Low, long, mid-century. A 68-inch mid-century dresser in walnut veneer, with six soft-close drawers, antique-bronze pulls and tapered legs banded in metal.

Every drawer front is built from two horizontal walnut slabs meeting at a fine seam, with an antique-bronze bar pull resting just below it, so the long front reads in quiet layers. The veneer shows walnut's warm, rosy-brown figure, from soft cathedral arches to straight lines, with the odd pin knot.

The walnut veneer covers an engineered hardwood core, which keeps a wide, low case flat. Six drawers close softly, the front edges are gently rounded, and four tapered wood legs with bronze-tone metal collars and a thin dark strap beneath the case lift it off the floor. It arrives largely assembled, so setup is minimal. Style it with a linen lamp and stoneware for a warm modern room, or with cognac leather and black steel for a loft.
