- Wrapped two ways: Each square leg is wrapped round in rattan peel, while the rims of the top and the shelf are wrapped across, so the strips meet at a clean corner where a leg passes through the shelf.
- Two open tiers: Seen at an angle beside a sofa, the round top sits over an open frame of four straight legs, and the cane shelf below leaves room to set things down. There is no drawer, no glass and no metal.
- Woven cane panels: The top and the shelf are open-weave rattan cane in a warm honey tan, framed by a paler wrapped rim. Rattan is natural, so its tone and markings vary from table to table.

A round two-tier side table wrapped entirely in natural rattan over a mahogany frame. The top is a thick rim wrapped in pale rattan peel, framing a panel of woven rattan cane in an open mesh. Four square legs, each wrapped round and round in rattan, carry the top and a matching round cane shelf that sits about six and a half inches above the floor. Between the two tiers the table is open. Rattan is a natural material, so the tone runs from pale straw to warm tan, with darker streaks and nodes that differ from table to table.
