- Eight boards, edge on edge: Each leg is eight flat pine boards stacked with no gaps, every edge bevelled to a point, so the leg reads as a crisp zigzag from the side and a set of horizontal ridges from the end.
- A long top on two solid ends: Seen at an angle the table is a long two-layer top dropping into a solid leg at each end, with the ridges running on from top to floor and nothing in the open space between.
- Whitewash over reclaimed pine: A soft cream wash sits over pale pine, and warm tan wood shows through along the grain and the ridges. It is reclaimed wood, so knots, grain and small marks vary from table to table.

The top is two stacked layers, each edge bevelled to a sharp ridge, and it rests on two solid end legs. Each leg is a stack of eight boards cut to the same pointed profile, running the full depth of the table and flush with the ends of the top, so the ridges carry on from the top down to the floor. The space between the legs is open from front to back. It is reclaimed wood, so knots, grain and small marks vary from table to table.
